The process of applying online for a new connection through the official website (ENC) has become very simple. Here is a simple guide how to apply for a new electricity connection.

Procedure For LESCO New Connection Application Online 2026

  1. Visit the official ENC website.
  2. From the sidebar select "Apply".
  3. Please fill out the subdivision information, including the distribution company, subdivision, category type and neighbour reference number.
  4. Once you have selected the category type, you need to select the type of connection.
  5. Following that, you need to fill out a form for applicant details, including applicant status, citizenship address and mobile number. You can also include different contact information for you.
  6. Following that, you will have to fill out the premises information, including the number of meters installed, the maximum load, and the address of the premises.
  7. You must attach essential documents after filling out all forms.
  8. Next, click on "I Agree" and complete the captcha.
  9. Then press the submit button.

Time Required for New Connection Category-Wise

A new connection takes a certain amount of time depending on the category. In accordance with the requested load, every category has a different time period for completion.

Category-1 (1kW - 15kW)

Consumers with loads between 1kW and 15kW are considered residential consumers. For such consumers, the period of time is approximately 30 days.

Category-2 (16kW - 70kW)

This category of consumers is considered for large residences and commercial properties. It takes approximately 53 days to complete the procedure.

Category-3 (71kW - 500kW)

Consumers in that category are considered for industrial units and cooperative buildings. It takes approximately 73 days to complete this category.

  3. Select the company LESCO from the dropdown menu and then choose either the Tracking ID or the CNIC.
  4. If you have selected a tracking ID or CNIC, enter it.
  5. Your status will be displayed as "Pending Inspection," "DN Paid," or "Meter Assigned".
